With JustHost you have access to cPanel. At the current moment cPanel only runs on Linux servers. As far as I’m aware all JustHost hosting is run entirely on Linux servers (though MS Frontpage Extensions is available).

To access cPanel for each domain just go to www.example.com/cpanel

With cPanel, you can do almost anything! It’s much more fully featured than some competitor control panels, such as Parallels Plesk. You can create new email accounts, install scripts (using Fantastico) view Webalizer logs etc to check where your web traffic is coming from.

I always try and select cPanel hosts with Fantastico. The reason being, I have to carry out lots of installations of WordPress and Joomla – Fantastico is a brilliant time saver.

Fantastico is basically a vast script vault and installer, on steroids! All the applications are kept constantly up to date. Bundled scripts include WordPress, Joomla, Drupal, PHP-Nuke, Help Center Live, Cube Cart, OS Commerce, Photo Galleries, PHPlist, TikiWiki, Open-Realty, PHPauction and many others.

With Fantastico there is also an update feature. If you have more than a few WordPress blogs you will be aware how often then bring out a new version. Fantastico will back up and update your WordPress blog for you. I’ve always found Fantastico to be a massive improvement on Plesk Application (Web) Vault.
